help with helms manual please.
Guys, im tearing apart one of my friends cars and it is literally in pieces.
its a 2001 ITR and i am looking for the fuse box diagram from a helms manual.. I'm also looking for the specific wires leading in and out of the fuse box. more specific, the ignition coil wiring.
he had some idiot put on his alarm system and i dont think his ignition coil fuse is even being used (0 volts)...therefore there is a break in the wire somewhere
TIA.

I've tapped the ignition control wire before when I had my J&S, and I don't recall that wire going through the fuse box, just staying in the main wire harness. I'm looking at my Helms and I think the wire (yel/gr) goes straight from the ICM to connector #223/103, to the ECU. I'm if not looking in the right place, let me know and I'll look again.
Can anyone tell me what the 3 wires in this plug do? (the one highlighted by green)
theres a black wire w/ yellow stripe, a solid yellow wire, and a white wire with a yellow stripe.
TIA

Soup, is that picture from an integra? For example, connector C451 according to my Helms is located right next to the shifter. In your picture, C451 appears to be in the driver's fuse box.
I can't find a plug that corresponds with the green box you drew. If the connector you're looking at is in the driver's fuse box, describe all the wire colors and pin positions, and I'll be able to tell what connector you're looking at.

That connector is C922. It goes to the ignition switch. Soup, I'm still trying to figure out what all the wires do.
i know its to the ignition switch but im looking at them and dont know what the heck the wires do
yes, it is from an integra .... if your c451 is next to the shifter i think you have things to worry about
What page of Helms did you scan into your post?
Good find, Hungster. Here's a picture of Helms pg. 23-48. Helms doesn't show C451 near the fuse box, as it appears in the picture you posted above. Now, here's a picture of Helms pg. 11-30 that shows where C451 is located.
Soup, are you sure you have an integra book? You might confirm you have the right book before you cut too many wires. Don't ask how I know this...
i dont have any book
.
im relying on what hungster tells me ..if he tells me to cut the black wire leading to the battery, i'd do it
i just need to find out what those 3 wires on that harness plug do!
..
i yank the plug on my car and notice the ignition is dead. therefore, i can only assume one supplies the ignition power
