hey guys im looking to buy a new set of coilovers for my 95 hatch the car is my daily and will be tracked every once in awhile. im not to worried on the price but im not looking to get anyting too expensive i have been looking at the skunk 2 pro s 2 and a few others just looking for a little input before i go ahead and buy them. thanks!
There are all kinds of topics on all kinds of coilovers, shocks, springs aso for all kinds of uses in this forum.
You might wanna read through them.

You didn't give us a budget.
If you're looking to track it occasionally you should get a real suspension.
Progress CS-II (350 or 500lb Front rates/350lb Rear rates) $580
OR
Koni/Ground control 425-500lb Front rates/350-450lb Rear rates $799
Your options are pretty limited as far as I'm concerned. Unless you would like to spend $1200 on AMR. Which would be worth every penny and then some.

Daily driving comfort. A 22mm+ rear swaybar can maintain ride comfort and offer some of the turn in that higher rear rates provide. One you get into 500lb+ rear rates swaybars become less effective.
i was looking at the amrs but can see spending 1200 on coils for my daily especially with the way some roads around here are. as for a budget im looking to spned no more than right arounf 800 i have be looking at the tein basics and skunk 2 pro s2 what are your guys thought on either of those?

Progress CS-II @ $580
Koni Ground control @ $800
AMR @ $1200
There's really no reason to get anything else. Koni and AMR at their various prices can be rebuilt or are built the way you need them to and you can pick rates.
CS-II is hands down the best budget coilover. Period. It's the Mazda Miata.
AMR is the AMG mercedes, and Koni is the Lancer Evo IX.
Being if you follow this line of thinking:
Mazda Miata: Solid car for the money
AMG mercedes: One of the best cars made but you pay primo.
Lancer Evo IX: Best performance per dollar spent ever.

-Tein=decent, but not for the money. I wouldn't use them.
-Skunk2 suspension isn't known for ride quality, or quality suspension parts in general.
I can't believe people actually recommend Tein basics or any Skunk2 suspension product.
Progress; CS-II is OK for money. but overall isn't anything special of course.
you don't "lose" ride quality with 500 spring rates in rear. you won't feel the flipping difference unless you're in the back seat. 350/500+

aha how about that for subjective. then again, roads down here in florida are an absolute treat to drive on. especially being someone who's lived in new england for most of his life.
you should really build your daily driver to suit your daily driving needs.
