I've seen other threads but I must say I'm very happy with the VHT wheel paint I used. My gunmetal wheelset had some minor curbage and chips so I felt it they were a good candidate to get painted. I did not paint the inside but you can't tell once they are on the car. I know some folks on here don't like the black wheels on white but I'm happy with the way they turned out. Sorry for the camera phone pics.

 

They look nice!! But im not a fan of black oem itr wheels!! They would of looked better CW

 

I have a spare set of CW wheels, I just wanted a change for my GM wheels

 

eih black has been way overdone, brighter color to be different would have been my choice

 

Most bodyshops will professionally prep and paint a set of wheels for around $200. Regardless of the rattlecan you use, the bodyshop can do them 100x better, and you can get an OEM color.

Rattlecan wheels reminds me of a guy who has a $500 1989 Civic hatchback and his DelSol wheels are peeling, so he thought he'd make them look 'better'.

 

Really? I personally feel that a bright color wheel has been over done and generally looks awful. Now don't get me wrong for a track wheel its all good and fun but for a dd, a simple basic color looks best imo.

 

In that case. Rock different colors every weekend then j/w how much are those spray cans?

 

I feel the same way about the bright color, plus I didn't want something that screamed LOOK AT ME!!!

I've always liked black wheels and honestly I got 3 cans shipped for under $30 bucks. Love the satin black, didn't want glossy and flat black looks fairly cheap. Honest opinions are always welcome I just wanted to post in case folks were wondering which paint they should use.

Plus I love how easy it is to clean black wheels

 

looks good... not a big fan of black wheels anymore but to each is own.. looks like you did a decent job though... PS if you want to sell your oem gm center caps pm me lol

LOL! I actually painted them, I had a buddy do some acura decals but the log is a tad smaller than stock.

I'll make it like a zebra a black and a CW wheel on each side.... jk

 

looks awesome! but i wish u cleaned ur iacv instead! lol! jk! i cleaned mine btw.....sort of...i could get the coolant hoses off and i didnt want to force it, so i just took a toothbrush and a can of air and cleaned the screen. lol!

 

LOL Rod! This was actually a few weeks ago finally got around to posting the pics. Funny thing is even with this extended weekend I still haven't cleaned my IACV!
