Do you still have A/C ?
I've been searching for a CRX for a while now, window shopping if anything, but looking. The one item I think that has become more rarer than an OEM mudflap has become a CR-X with a/c.
I don't know if I've come across a single crx in the last seven months that didn't have a swap with A/C. I don't get it...A/C is awesome...its freaking A/C! like cold wind that god didn't make by spitting on us.
**** a roof rack...keep the A/C

i just bought a bone stock 91 crx si from the original owner and it still has ice cold a/c. a month before i bought it they just spent about 1k on a/c repairs at the honda dealer. new lines, compressor, condensor and reciever dryer. in florida, you need a/c lol...
ef's with a/c are still out there, just not many like you said

When I bought my Civic SI bone stock it had all the ac parts in it. All i had to do is replace the ac compressor and vuola i had AC. A couple years later the damn AC clutch went bad on me from the AC compressor and now im like THE HELL WITH IT, but I still have my AC parts installed not thinking of selling them though. Maybe I will get another AC compressor Who knows!!!!!!
That's not all you'll need - you will need a new filter/dryer since your system has been exposed to open air for so long.

BTW: Fords have orifice tubes, Honda calls them expansion valves. It does the same thing though.
What can have a dramatic effect is making sure the condenser and evaporator are good and clean. It may also be a good idea to take the bottom of your evaporator case off and get the leaves and cat hair out of it.
i got a 95 civic turbo...of course the a/c components have been takin off...and apparently its a pain in the *** and alot of $$$$$ to put it back on. I wish i knew that BEFORE i bought it haha...oh well
I am the original owner of my baby, Tahitian Green 91 Civic DX hatchback which I paid extra for 2 options: A/C and passenger side mirror. The AC was working fine until a couple years ago so I had the conversion done but it went out again. I'll probably have it fixed again before summer since it's still my daily driver and on hot days in traffic on I-80 in Sacramento, it's HOT.
When i bought my crx, it had A/C and a b16 swap. A/C didn't work cuz the compressor was bad, but came with an extra working compressor. Never fixed it, put a turbo on instead LoL. If i need to cool down, i just boost.
PO removed all my a/c except the dash pieces. i bought a whole a/c setup from a member here, then found a guy selling a gsr compressor with crx hoses. it all bolted right up to my b16
