Can you explain to me how some "water" that you poured into the exhaust would still be burning? I believe that would burn out fairly quick. Maybe you should come up with a better reason as to why your car is burning "water" if you are going to continue trying to rip people off.

 

Thats sounds a bit hostile, i dont know how im ripping people off when i put all the info right in the description about the car and problems and what i have changed so far. Im not hiding anything. If i was hiding something, THEN i would be a jerk about it. But im not hiding anything. It not like its hard to work on the car either.... BMW made it pretty easy!

Ok, so bmw got pretty fansy and designed there car for 50/50 weight distribution. So they slant the engine sideways to offset the driver. So i left the headers on so i wouldnt strip the bolts off and just discontented the bottom of the manifold and that points straight up. well, when i pulled the head off, LOTS OF WATER FILLED UP THE EXHAUST. Only makes since right. anyways, we did a entire head gakset kit and put it back together.

When we changed the gaskets on my brothers car due to hydro lock it took OVER A DAY to burn out all the anti freeze.

Then we started it and only drove it for about a 25 min. it smoked like hell (exhaust just filled) and kept cutting back reducing the smoke. now every time i start it up it keeps getting less and less and less.

What is happening now at this present time is-
I start the car, DOES NOT SMOKE, then maybe have a couple "puffs" but not like a freight train, then stop again. my guess is just condensation due to lots of rain, or still burning off coolant in exaust. then it will not smoke at all anymore. (NOTE: Only about 100 miles on the engine:I would even start it and shut it off a lot and nothing. just purrs in the driveway.

A boosted car would clean that out super fast, but N/A, i dont run my car at WOT all the time, wanted the gaskets to seal so it burned out slowly.

There it is in simple terms and all honesty on the table! I work 55+ hours a week so its hard for me to work on it. lol another mechanic can lover him!
