what are the advantages of the sheet metal wing coming off the roof line on fwd cars?
i am seeing more and more cars with this but no reasoning why?

It hits the air coming from beneath the car and can create a suction effect. Sort of like a boat's wake.
Having a wing that extends the roofline out farther makes the air drop off farther behind the vehicle and coming in contact with less air from underneath the vehicle. By not having the air fight each other it could cut through the air better and also make it more stable at higher speeds.
Theoretically speaking lol
Some Minivans also have a very small oem wing that is suppose to aid in this at highway speeds.
Awesome, the car is very consistent. Def got a little swirly at the top in the third video, any idea of why this happened or is it just because you were out of the groove a little?
