Hey guys,
I'm looking to purchase a 08-10 CRV for my fiancee. I will be getting the awd model for sure. I would just like some feedback from you guys...
1. Those it drive good ( I will be going for a test drive but looking for an opinion from others0
2. Those the awd system work good? I'm concerned as my fiancee will be driving it in the winter...
3. How is the fuel consumption?
4. Anything I should be on the look out for that is good or bad...
5. Any options that are a great plus to the CRV?
I'm sure you guys get asked these sort of questions but from the search nothing is a direct answer to what I'm looking for!
I really appreciate the help guys!

I would look over the posts at http://www.crvownersclub.com/forums/
Tons of info regarding all your questions.

My mom has had 2, a 2009 and a new 2011. She loves it. Don't settle for an LX model, get the EX. I like the illuminescent display on them and she gets 25+mpg. She has a 2WD though, so you'll be about 22-25 with AWD. She also has the rubber floor mats and cargo tray, if you're using it in a snowy climate I'd recommend those.
EX is a must if you can afford it, also get the rubber floor mats like dta03cl mentioned. Even though I live in NC and hardly ever get snow, I have a messy wife and kid. It makes things 10x easier to clean up and saves your carpet.
I'm from Ohio and know how to drive in the snow, never had problems with a FWD car in the snow. Does your gf suck at driving? I mean other than the obvious being a woman part?

It's not a bad crossover, it doesn't drive as nice as say my mom's ML550, it's definitely nosier and more harsh, but for half the money it's a good value. I have a 2010 EXL and the AWD does not get 22 mpg in town. It's closer to 20 mpg. Get weathertech all season mats, the OEM all seasons don't give you enough coverage. Also I would recommend getting fog lights, the light output sucks on these things.

Thanks a lot for the advice guys much appreciated!
I'm looking for an EX but AWD... my gf is an ok driver but it snow a lot during the winter and I would like to have the awd for her and myself also not that I'm a bad driver but it's always good to have that extra little traction!
Is there anything else that I should look out for as in problems?
