Default cutting lowering springs

I have neuspeed sports that gave me about a 2 inch drop

I want to go down another inch or inch and a half.

Im debating on buying some megan coils or something..or just cutting a 1 or 2 coils of my neuspeed springs.

the springs i have right now are great and feel almost stock,But they honestly didnt do anything for my handeling or appearance.

If i get some cheap coils i will end up slamming them, So worrying about how long my stock struts will last isnt reallly conserning me.

how many coils would i have to cut to go down another inch or so?

That's a royal fail move. I don't think you'll get anyone worth their salt that will advise you on this. Don't cheap out on the suspension.

I would advise against it. Its dangerous. Just save up your cash for sum good coil. Patience is a virtue.

Sell the springs, buy the coilovers.

The coilovers suck, but cut springs suck also.

It's very dangerous to cut your springs, they likely will not seat properly and could fail.

be patient and buy a real suspension if you want to lower your car.

Don't do it!

I run 8" long springs for a reason. No matter the conditions my springs can't come unseated...

If you hit hit a bad dip or pothole hole the wrong way... Chopped or even short springs can come unseated. On a highway corner it could be deadly to you or other innocent motorists. Unsafe mods ruin the hobby for the of us...

Please listen to the advice!

wow. Someone has been on here long enough to have 200+ posts and they somehow haven't managed to learn that cutting springs is a hack move, and one of the dumbest things you can do to a car.

I will actually say something possibly no one will like but. I Run Koni coilovers on my teg and i have 6 sets of springs that are different rates and they all started out as either 12 or 15 inch hypercoils. now they are 8 or 9 inch and they work perfect. They are flat ground on the bottom for the perch and fit in the upper mount PERFECT. It also actaully increases the rate by a small percentage. I would not recommend cutting regular lowering springs though.
