Just bought Salvage 06 Honda civic ex from car auction. Need radio code. Pressed 1 and 6 and these numbers popped up 24002861. Can anyone help?

 

call a honda dealer they will give you the code when you give them the vin#... i had to whe i installed my cold air intake!

i have a 2004 honda civic si and I DESPERATELY NEED THE RADIO CODE . tired of listening to myself thinking while i'm driving .. please ..

 

Turn car to ON II(radio powers up)
Turn radio off
Hold 1 & 6 buttons on radio
While still holding 1 & 6, turn radio on
Write down the 8digit number that should display
Call dealer and give them the numbers

 

i'm tired of trying all this different ways and calling half the world for nothing .. someone please just give me a code ..

 

Just call the honda dealer; I did this last week and they gave it no problem.

 

I'm tired of you demanding things, give me the goddamn serial numbers for busted as stock ep3 stereo and i'll give you a code

 

Also if the 1 and 6 trick doesn't work it means you ****ed with the buttons too much and it locked you out, need to pull backup fuse or disconnect battery.

 

Just disconnect and reconnect the battery - don't pull the fuse.

I work at a dealer in the parts department, follow the 1&6 trick, you don't need to worry about the U or L just the numbers.

Glad that people know about this ... I talk to a lot of people who have no clue what they are doing all day long .... sad. haha

My 08 has a sticker on the inside of glove box with the code on it. White sticker with some barcodes and the radio code .

 

Mine is missing, probably the previews owner removed, I looked inside the fuse box under the hood too and nothing...
