Default electronic speedo in cable trans?

ive done some research but to no avail. I just put an ek cluster in my car and tryed fitting an electronic vss from a d series in my cable d series transmission and wouldnt fit.

only real thing i can find is someone modifing their vss with a 92eg and 99 integra top. something to that nature. I was just wondering if theres any electronic vss you could swap straight into a cable d series trans??

i'm using a 92-95 d-series vss in my 93 b-series tranny, and i didn't have to change anything to make it work. i want to say back when i did my swap someone had said that if you were using a d-series cable tranny that you would want to use a b-series electronic vss, but i'm not 100% on that.

It should fit. Sometimes you just have to twist and wiggle it to get the gears to line up and let it slide in place.

I tryed a vss out of my buddies 98 ek. It was actually a little bit longer than my stock one and wouldnt fit in right. but I will try the b-series VSS and hopefully thatll work, not having a working speedometer really sucks lol

yeah its longer and you will fit it with a 10mm large screw with a washer, so the washer push the hole of the vss and dont let him come out, got it??
