Default Race-Tech UK fab shop

Heres a few things we've been working on recently.

B series n/a manifold

B series sump (still at the cad stage)

A customers car, Sleeved b16 with precision 6262, our inlet/exhaust manifold will be running 40psi boost.

B series ram horn

Heres a couple of welds, not the best but you can also see the penetration in the bottom right corner.

Inside

An EP3 Exhaust

B series intake manifold

Honda civic jordan with our B series turbo kit

Bumper was already cut by a previous exhaust shop so we made ours to the cutout they did.

CFD exhaust flow

We had a tight radius to get to the cooler as the customer had a really thick rad meanign the turbo was moved across, we had to piecut into the "backdoor" intercooler

2.5" exhaust

What is your assumption of calculated value for the velocity or mass flow rate leaving the exhaust ports?

It depends what we are designing for. If its a fresh build we have targets and aim's so we design to meet them. Did you mean on the exhaust? I cannot rememeber the actual numbers entered on that one, (will check later) but its obviously much more simple on a turbo car to guestimate mass flow. On n/a its more difficult when cam profiles etc play a bigger part. Fortunetly I've got a close friend who does the exhaust design work for Bentley and Mclaren.

Its designed for high power b18's really, making peak power over 8200rpm's. 2.5" outlet, 1 7/8th's runners IIRC, (we work in mm)

do it, please. I've always been interested in running them, a friend of mine ran a TME turbo on his time attack sr20 and made 350rwhp with an amazing powerband

They do have a great powerband, we've made 343hp with full boost around 3k rpm's on a b16. (stock engine)

Looks like solidworks... There is no program for just turbo manifolds. Burns stainless has there own proprietary software for exhaust manifolds/systems but there's no way for you to get ahold of it.

What's the price on one of those manifolds?

That manifold was actually done on Catia. We have solidworks also. Both are useful.

I have some Licoln welders but most of the work is done on a Lorch, (high end German machine)

I'm not sure which manifold your reffering to but I don't think we can put prices on here. I'm from the UK anyway, so the exchange rate would make anything we make expensive i'd imagine.
