Default z6 vtec solenoid on b16

i have a z6 solenoid attached to my b16 right now.
the only difference is the location of the plugs. the z6 is located more toward the front, and i think the b16 is straight out from the side toward the left.

my question is, is will vtec still work with the z6 solenoid on the b16 head?
or would i have to order a b16 solenoid...

it will still work. the solenoid is electronically controlled by the computer with respect to engagement, so despite the engagement points for the z6 and b16 being different, it will still work.

^ That wuz just wrong... lol! here'z anotha for ya: Y5 = Y8 solenoid ,(and then thurrz the d15z1 one which I buhlieve IIRC = z6 = b16 = d15b) Bunchez of em! Then there'z muh 3 stage vtec one (y5 + y8 combined-12v-16v-"wild y8 lobe")
muh 3 stg head Which takes a rare to find here P2J ecu, most of which are AUTO! (and elsewhere it seemz, but I uze an rpm switch an a socketed ecu rt now + working on a betta OBD0 solution soon)

Ummm, that'd be showing that MANY vtec solenoids work on oTHER HEADS,boy! (interchangeable,DUHR!) You're the one unsure, unconfident, asking others that ALREADY KNOW + acting all cocky, was just pointing out that YEAH-it works DUHR!

Luv all the "hey will this work on my XXXX?" questions this place gets on daily basis (and 99.9% are in THE FKING FAQ!),and when someone with knowledge comes along they wanna act like a lil bitch!,lmao... Try changing ur vtec fluid whilst @ it chump!

This site is for TECH,not holding newbs hands through their unconfident/but yet smartass ages!!!

Pfttt,"will vtec still work?",lmfao...
