not true... i know y8 and z6 solenoids are different. i know because I tried to bolt up my z6 solenoid to a y8 head i got but no go. however... a while back, i gave a z6 solenoid to my friend to use on his gsr head. i don't recall him telling me it didn't work, so I'm assuming it did. the differences could be in obd's as well not 100% positive.
