Why shouldn't I?
I've been thinking for a while now, I really want to get a S2000. I'm currently not in the financial state to do so, but come January or February of next year (as a US Air Force member), I'll be able to do such.
Now I would like for some people to chime in on why I shouldn't buy a S2000. I really want one, but they just seem too good to be true. Also, where is the cheapest aftermarket parts for the S2000?

what? why shouldn't you? why not? buy what YOU like. you don't need anyone telling you not to buy one! also..in the s2000 forum..you wont get to many people telling you not to get one..
this alone says, "civic all over it" Just get a civic, mod it and call it a day. lol.
When i made the transition from civic to s2000 i was not aware that owning an s2000 was like owning a lesser expensive ferrari. lol. Parts are crazy expensive, performance mods are in the high hundreds, thousands, and if done wrong can even loose power. Its a finely tuned car out of the factory and if you mess with that in a cheap way then your gonna ruin the car.
Reasons that make me wish i NEVER bought one
-2 seater: wth was i thinking? At first its like, eh i dont have a family so who cares. And its not until your in a situation where your out on the town and your about to get lucky with a bombshell but her also hot *** friend has to come alone too.... then you realized, "****! one doesnt fit" and because she cant bring her hot *** friend then your screwed to leave alone. lol
-Long Drives: Sometimes long drives can be very uncomfortable. Thankfully its not my only car so you better make sure you have a DD
-Mods: Not cheap, its an s2000 so you really cannot go cheap. Your buying one of the high end honda cars the least you can do is treat it like one.
-Exhaust + convertible: Ugh! Gets annoying after a while.
Besides that, I really love my s2000. It turns heads, not commonly seen out on the roads, and i always get the "damn thats my car" when i open the garage. Just be sure that you have a DD i think youll be great as long as you have another car.
