Awesome! Cant wait to see it done! Nothing is wrong with Bondo if it is used correctly - it is an overused word.

 

I think you are doing a good job. In the first few pictures it's hard to tell where the plans were going but towards the end of the pictures it was obvious. Your wide body, hand built kit, looks good and I'm sure when you're done it'll look even better.
