this might sound dumb but just thought id ask ive had this ITR motor for about 6 years now and just put it in my 94 civic about 3 months ago i noticed vtec does not crack like it used to before it was INSANELY loud crossover dont get me wrong it still has the same effect power wise just is very muffled compared to what it used to sound like :-( any ideas as to why ?

still have same bolt on mods can a ecu program mess w vtec sound?

 

If your vtec is "cracked", its probably broken!

no but ive tried various ones and no change :-( i dunno what happend

 

Which vehicle did it come from before going in the 94 civic? Could be a difference in sound deadening material...
