3 questions about the B18C1.
I would like to know which turbo will spool from 4000 revolutions per minuter all the way to the redline which is 8200 on a B18C1. I have another question about the B18C1; does it have oil squirters like the Type R has and one last question that goes like this is how can I make the rev limit go from 8200 to 9000 ? Thanks.
1. I don't know but I think that is more dependant on the size of the turbo rather than what engine it is being used on.
2. Yes it has oil squirters like the Type R (essentially the same block)
3. Chipped ECU or stand alone

1. Agreed it's more than likely turbo dependent.
2. Already answered, yes.
3. Along with standalone/chipped ecu you really should do some headwork i.e. better valvesprings. Type-R springs should be good but if you're upgrading I feel it's worth it to go aftermarket.

2: Yes
3: I wouldn't recommend revving that high without knowing what you are doing. You will most DEFINITELY need valve springs and retainers, and cams that would produce power at those RPMs. (Stock will die off around 7500) If you are going boost, it will actually be better to rev lower and have longer gears. You should do a LOT more research before you go wasting money.
You gots LOTS of research and reading to do my friend! Don't even think about building or turboing a Honda until you can answer these questions yourself...
