HELP!!!! Can I put a OBD0 B16 into a 92-95 civic
As the title states i bought a swap thinking, like a dumba$$, that the Obd0 B16 would swap right into a 92-95 civic. Is this possible and how much extra am i going to have to do thanks for all help!!!
it depends which b16 u got. if u got one for a ef than no. if u got one thats for a b16a2 (obd1) than yea. the correct ecu for that engine is a p30 u could use a p28 but that has to be chipped cuz of the knock sensor.
possible? yes, worth doing? No. Find an OBD1 or OBD2 swap and save yourself a huge headache. Besides the parts you need to fit it in there will cost you more than the difference between an OBD0 and OBD1 swap anyway.
You can do it its very easy if you know swaps ive done it with a B18B,B18c1,B16a all obd0 and i put them into 92-95 civics, there are a few wire harnesses you can use to do this but i would use one from an obd1 gsr for what your doing and just change some of the sensors... oh yea you need a hydro obd1 drive train, and shift linkage
