so i found a donor car for power doors... its a gx, am i correct in thinking the wiring is the same as an lx and therefore usable to swap my manual doors to power?

 

What year is the LX? I'm pretty sure all the GXs, including '98 were OBD2B so it should fit '99 - '00 Civics.

Yep, '98 - '00 only and they were only sold as a fleet vehicle, you couldn't just go buy one as an individual.

 

the gx was a 98, are you 100% sure theyre all obd2b? the dx is a 97 so obd2a

 

Reasonably sure, I think NOFX knows for sure. GXs were an oddball.

 

GXes, as far as I can tell, are kind of like an LX with a natural gas conversion of sorts. factory style though. '98+ only.

I'd compare the plugs if you can first. It's not often people modify parts from the GX besides the motor.

Sort of sad to think you found a dead GX in a yard though.

 

what was most sad was it was in the yard because somebody failed at converting it to gas....(natural to gasoline)
