Looking for aluminum tac welder in socal
your block will warp from the heat. you need to do it with the block out of the car and bare. After that, you have to deck the block, which any machine can do.
so your options are:
1. read above
2. leave it the way it is and save your time & money
3. install it without welding it ( which is how they are done 99% of the time)
I personally would choose 2 if i were in your shoes

im not doing this as a performance upgrade. my block is already warped. and because of this even with a new headgasket steam gets into the cylinders.
i want to weld it in and then deck the block but i want to greatly reduce the amount of water that touches the headgasket so that even if the headgasket fails the car will still run good and not just turn off on me once the water is heated up.
i didnt think anyone would wanna take any of their time especially without me being able to offer more. i think im going to try and solder it in placethen get the block decked
