Icon6 GenesisAutoParts.com? pffft

SO, I went on to genesisautoparts.com and found a metal 2 row radiator. I called about it before I bought it to see if the rezevoir came with it, and they assured me that all parts that were in the picture including the tanks were included when I made my purchase. So I order the radiator. It came in today 3 days late.... It is supposed to be an "exact fit" and I beg to differ. The cap for my old radiator doesn't fit, the rezevoir is not included, and I cannot get ahold of customer service. I am beyond upset, so I decided to share my experience with everyone.... Let's hope I can get a cap from Autozone that fits tomorrow, which is very unlikely.

anyone have any advice???

A used OEM radiator would have been a better choice. Better still would have been a new OEM radiator.

Does the radiator fit where the old one was?

Do the fans mount correctly?

How much coolant does the new radiator hold?

Are the inlet/outlet holes in the same spot as the OEM radiator?

I'd keep trying to get in touch with them to see if you can get a refund, then buy an OEM radiator.

the radiator is a perfect fit, the cap just doesnt fit. the threads are much smaller than the threads on the cap off of the old one... wish me luck on finding a cap today... I am still trying to get ahold of these crappy people from the website.

Perhaps they are ignoring you? Sounds like you got shafted and now they dont want you to get a refund, imo... Try getting a friend to call them for you with a different number or something. At least, that's what I'd do.

I finally got a cap that fits it, and got it put on my car until I get the money for a new OEM radiator. (i'm a stay at home single mom so money for my car is hard to come by) It fit, but customer service was unhelpful. They do not sell radiator caps to fit THEIR radiators. Just want to tell everyone to watch out for this company and their radiators!

So what cap ended up fitting?

It's pretty common for OE radiator caps to not fit aftermarket radiators btw!
