mugen ecu chip on p28.. removal/help.
i hav a mugen ecu chip on wen i bought the car.. imo i think it doesnt do ****.
i think my idle is ****d up bcus of this.
if i take it off will it run fine..? or i heard i have to put a "stock" chip in it.

well if you want it out its probably just soldered in you would have to desolder it and take it out.. sinse you dont know anything about the comp i would take it to the shop and have them do it or someone who is skilled to do it cause it is easy to screw it all up and fry your ecu
Pull chip (normally they're pushed into a LIF socket, carefully pry the chip out with a small screwdriver alternating between each end so you don't bend the legs of the chip. Cut the J1 jumper. You now have a stock ECU again.
