how to best run power to the trunk; EG
i have a 93 LX and im trying to clean up my wiring a bit. I have a single 10" kicker sub with a 400w (RSM) pioneer amp in the trunk (it was behind the seat of my truck). When i first got the car i was just worried about getting everything hooked up as i have a 30 min drive to school, i kinna needed a decent sounding system..... so currently i have the main power connected to the battery, ran accross to the drivers side, throught the fender, between the door and just ran along the edge to the trunk, run under the folding back seat. needless to say, it looks really bad. So what is the best way to get the power line to the trunk?
on a side not, i also have speaker wire for the rear deck speaker ran along the same way... id rather not pull up the carpet... so how so you remove the plastic at the bottom of the door so i had hide it under that?

If you insist on not pulling up the carpet. You will have to run it through the frame on the underside of the car. I would pull up the carpet a little at a time either on the side or throught the middle between the seats. Keep in mind you need to seperate power cables from speaker or rca's(inputs). The reason is you will have feedback noise if the wire are in close proximity. Good luck.
Run it through the grommet near the battery and feed it into the cabin. I hate it when people loop the cable all the way across the engine bay to the only grommet that they can see. Take some time and just pull up the carpet. It makes for a cleaner install and does not take up that much time. It's also not that difficult.
Ditto the above,^^^, run power through firewall, [drill hole and install grommet if none available] then run power cable along rocker panel, tuck under rear quarter trim, all you need to do is remove kick panel trim, rocker panel trim, [sill trim] and bottom of rear seat, easy to do.
You do not need to run speaker leads, all Honda/Acura have speaker leads run, evan if car came with no rear speakers. 94

The reason I ran leads for that back is that a PO did a hack job on the wiring... Splices everywhere. Actually they did a number on the dash... He cut the factory plug off... Took mea few hours to get all the wiring sorted out...
I havnt been able to figure out how to remove the rocker pannel trim

which gromet by the batter where you talking about? the big one up almost right under the battery or the one that has the drain for the a/c comming out of it (thats what i fished my vtec wires through)? because the big one up right by the battery doesnt have a hole on the other side of it and i was trying to get away from drilling if at all possible.
is this the grommet you are talking about?

I want to make sure before i go cutting and attempt to fish it down through, cus it looks like its going to be a pain.

thanks, that worked... ended up feeding a few feet through before i could get a hold of it, but it does look alot better... now i just need to find a way to hide the wire harness for the headlight i got a while back... i think i can manage that though.
