Default Parts recommendation for 99 sir

Hi,

I need a water pump, timing belt and possibly a tensioner?

OEM Honda pump and Belt is about $185 shipped vs. $90 shipped for a gates branded one. There's a couple other choices on rock auto as well.

Is the OEM honda worth the extra money? What else do I need? (tensioner, water pump gasket, valve cover gasket?)

I also need a clutch? I'm thinking exedy. What site ships to Canada that I can order off?

Thanks,

Just maintenance. The clutch is slipping bad and needs to be replaced.

Personally i think it's worth the wait to buy the OEM parts for peace of mind. The first one lasted 100K+ you can expect that out of it the second time too.

We carry Honda Belts and parts OEM and aftermarket and we ship to Canada typically takes about 5-7 business days. Here's a link if you want to take a look at prices: http://www.fcpimport.com

Honda water pumps are absolutely worth the extra money, I haven't seen an aftermarket one yet that was even remotely comparable.

With a part that is so crucial to engine function there's no way I could compromise.

I cheaped out a bit and went aftermarket. It was half the price and it sounds pretty good. I will let you know how it is when it comes in.

I still need a clutch.
