I went to the FAQ thread, and it mostly speaks on front seat changes...

I'm sure someone else has done this, Are the rear seats a direct change out in a 2000 Coupe or is there something that must be done? Reason is I'm looking to go leather as an upgrade... and also black will darken up the interior of the car which is what I'm looking to do.

 

2 door teg rear seats only fit civic hatches.

 

Indeed. And only are a bolt in affair for 5th gen hatches IIRC.


i've heard 06+ civic coupe seats are easy to get into 6th gen coupes. They look really good.

 

Do you know what it takes to make them fit an EJ6 hatch? Im thinking of turning my grey interior into a "USDM Type-R" interior, but with leather rear seats.

 

So why don't you just get your rear seats reupholstered and you won't have to worry about fitment.

 

I was thinking of that at first but I like the idea of having head rests.

 

Wow, so they wont fit? Never knew that.... What about RSX seats? there has to be a seat that will fit...

 

FD seats fit, albeit it not perfectly. Same with DB8 rear seats, although they fit worse than FD ones.

Honestly it's only like 300 bux to have yours wrapped in black microfiber with red stitching, and then they'll fit perfectly and look brand new.

 

Look through the FAQ. Lots of people have done rear seat conversions. They all fit. not perfect, and often require a bit of modification.

This is why I've never considered getting cool back seats. For the price you bought some for you could have yours reupholstered for not much more and they'd fit perfect. 0 headache.

 

Fits in my EK hatch nicely. Didn't work well in my EM1.

I was trying to find factory leather seats, so thats why I was looking into the other options that might fit nice before going to have my rear seats wrapped in leather which I dont even know how much that might be..

I saw if you use gsr coupe bottoms and 4door tops they would fit... but im not looking for just to fit.. but fit flush and snug and look good... I guess I'll see about a set of rsx seats.. and if not we gotta do some custom leather...

 

gsr rear seats are never gonna fit right. not even in 5th gen hatches.
