skunk2 cams on type r valve train??

i was wondering if i can get away with skunk2 stage 2 tuners on 01 type r dual valve springs & retainers?? thanks 4 replies

gunna say no on this one. best to go with skunk2 or supertech springs and retainers. get cam gears and a timing belt while your at it

I think the most you can get away with would be a tuner 1, but you still risk floating a valve a higher rpm. I would not recommend running any cam other than a stock itr on stock itr valve springs.

No! Its not safe... im sure you can run them but long term, oem itr valve train is not made for that of aggressive shafts! GL
