Painting trim in 2004 Honda Civic EX coupe
Few questions, I'm in the process of painting the trim and stuff (air vents, trim around radio, part of the armrests on the door panels, etc.). The air vents I already knew popped right out and came apart easily so those are already done. Took off the gear shifter and did what I wanted with that, and it's back together. But....taping up the armrests on the door panels is the biggest pain in the a$$ ever!!!! Is there a way to remove the armrests from the door panel so that I don't get paint on the fabric of the door???? And if I do get any on the fabric, what would suggest to remove it? I have Goof-Off, hear that was pretty good. I also want to do the armrests in the back seat. I haven't taken a good look but is there a way to remove those too? Black interior, accenting with red!!! Loving it so far!
Any help or ideas would be great!!! Even pictures or links to videos would be even better.

Yeah you're right, it is my car!!! And you just made yourself look like an a$$ with your "when the paint is dry" ****. I'm asking how to take it apart so I can paint it!! Not how to put it back on without getting paint on the fabric.
Thanks alot for your help jack a$$
