Default Start up noob Welder

Just a quick question to the professionals out there. I was browsing online for a tig welder and came across this company(Avortec)... http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...5&blockType=G5

Has anyone used or heard of this brand? If so, would this be a good start up machine for a noob?.. Thanks

I would probably stay away from it, you should look at lincoln or miller if $2200 is your price range.

For $300 more you can get a used Dynasty 200dx. Which is worlds apart from that cheap POS. http://weldingweb.com/showthread.php?t=55507
