I have my hatch branded title due to theft on craigslist with a stock d16z6 short ram and 2.5in exhaust other then that its stock besides tons of exterior mods and someone wants to trade for a eg hatch clean title with a b16a and has paper work with 50k on the motor also has integra dash and integra seats and interior is pretty clean, but its not as clean any opinions?

HELL NO!!! Your hatch is soooo much cleaner! Just keep urs and save for a swap. Better to have a clean hatch thats slower but turns heads, than a fast ugly hatch... But thats just my opinion.

Plus, his moldings are shaved , it needs alot of bodywork and paint. Thats money you could be putting into ur car...

Ya and anyways, b16 aint nothin special. Id choose a z6 over a b16 anytime. My homie had a tuned z6 91 hatch, and he took out alot of b16 and LS ef's. Can never underestimate hondas single cams

Dude keep your hatch. B16s are cheap these days. Or even better save a few bills and buy a GSR. Your Z6 is worth 600 or so, which will help offset cost if you're looking for more punch at the pedal

 

Keep your hatch man ...the b16 hatch doesnt even compare to yours ...props on a clean eg6 hope you keep it

 

i was thinkn about traden my motor plus cash for a dohc. i better keep it i have a lot of time and money in the hatch. and get compliments daily

 

Honestly, if you turbo and tune the z6, that thing will take out any b series vtec motor on the streets. And itll be about the same price as swapping, if not cheaper.

 

his hatch looks like *** (being nice), plus b16s are cool and all, but arent that much faster than a bolt on single cam...ask me how i know.

 

He is going to take your d series out, sell it, than put a new swap into your **** which is goin to be clean as **** if that were too happen.

o/p, please keep your car, who cares if it's salvage title? there's no frame damage and it looks clean. save a couple bux and swap in integra interior and a b series, or like some are saying just boost your z6

Gresham, but I dont live there anymore. I usually take my car to Forged in Troutdale though whenever I need stuff done. Long drive but they are the best around

 

Ya but the z6 is a good engine to boost, even stock. There is a local out here that has a crx si with a completely stock z6 turbod on about 9 psi i believe and all the bolt ons, tuned and everything and hes taking out b series turbod. So like a said in a previous post... NEVER UNDERESTIMATE SINGLE CAMS!!!!

 

Turbo with all the bolt ons????? Does he have forged pistons in a rotary and headers with his turbo?

I wouldn't trade at all. It would cost more to make that white look decent than it would for you to get a B16. Plus apparently he has a clean coupe as well. So he'd have 2 clean looking cars and you'd have a super under construction beater project. And the mouldings are shaved which is gross.

 

Keep your current EH2, that white one is rough and B16's are a dime a dozen
