Default 00 front end conversion ebay

Has anyone attempted to perform this conversion using fenders, bumper, and hood from ebay on a 96-98 civic? Will it work or not?

Ebay stuff is sketchy and may not line up as it should.

I think my car has an ebay nose. Nothing fits right. I really wish I knew who built this car I'd beat their *** severely. Nothing on the entire car was done right. Anyway I'd either go new from the dealer or OEM parts from a junkyard.

DON'T!, I repeat DON'T DO IT!!!!

eBay parts are very low quality, and it will not line up right, they are also very thin, and easy to dent.

I have a eBay hood and front bumper on my car, and it doesn't line up for anything. I tried and tried, there is no lining that crap up. Also, I pushed down on my hood when my old latch didn't want to close, and it dented. Either I am hulk, or the hood is junk.

Learn from my mistakes!

usually all the knock off parts that are on ebay are from the same manufactures so you're pretty much taking a chance of them lining up like oem stuff, if you take the time to look you can find a bunch of oem Honda parts on there that are in pretty good shape and dont forget craigslist

from personal experience, i only got it to fit 85% flush, some people get lucky though and get perfect fitment but.. don't do it just invest a little more money for quality parts. never get anything off ebay for replacement parts especially body work/engine

Thanks for all the beneficial feedback, albeit i'm not the owner of the Civic. I suggested this conversion to a friend of mine, and remembered that ebay offers body panels. But I had a gut-feeling that those parts were sketchy. Just trying to see if it would work before I even mention buying anything from ebay to him. Plus, if I plan to buy an EK, now I know not to buy the parts from there.
