"Whirring" noise in all gears
My car is making the sound it makes in reverse in every gear. The clutch, clutch release bearing, and the bearing that goes in the flywheel (I can't remember what it is called) has been replaced less than 10,000 miles ago.
Thanks, fourthgenhatch, I looked that up and unfortunately looks like you might be right.
Alx, I'm not 100% I made then assumption based on it sounding almost identical to the noise reverse makes. It started to now make the noise but a little quieter when I am stopped. It goes away immediately when I put the clutch in. When I am driving it seems to pick up with the rpms and when I put the clutch in it quiets down but doesn't seem to go all the way away.
