Looks like there some major drama going on between Rado and Gardella. Obviously, there has been some controversy ever since Rado supposedly hit that 6 sec run in Pomona. Gardella and Rado have been jabbing at each other since then considering Gardella's time's were legit.

I guess on facebook this morning, Gardella said Rado can't go against him unless he goes against Bergenholtz first. Sooooooooooooooooo since Gardella is being a troublemaker, he has forced me to go into the garage and see if I could muster up a couple of motors to go against Rado.

I guess this is like boxing. Considering Gardella (Rocky Balboa) is the reighning champ, Rado (Russian Ivan Drago) has got to go against a previous champ before he can go against the Heavy Weight champion Gardella.
Sorta like when the Russian (Rado) went against Apollo Creed (Bergenholtz) before having to against Rocky (Gardella) himself.

Rocky is Italian and so is Gardella so its the perfect analogy.

I cannot confirm yet if we are going to go BUT you better believe I'm going to try to make this happen. We'll see. I'll be the first to tell you that I miss PROFWD drag racing bad. Englishtown is a bomb track especially in the Fall. Noone can prep a track like that one. I dunno about going over 210mph but we'll try our damn well hardest to beat Rado or Gardella. It will be a nice reunion fight if this goes down.

Rado and Gardella is going to be talking madddd **** to each other. I'm not gonna put my money on either one of them. It could go either way.

This is Honda-Tech. Pull your goddamned CRX out of storage, and get Gardella to get his Little Red Rollerskate together, and maybe Rado can scrape together enough parts to re create the Ghetto Glider. Let's do this OLD SCHOOL.


Major props if anyone can manage to get all of you old fogeys off your automotive figure skating asses and back where you belong. Laying the smack down 1320 feet at a time.

I just want to say I got the loaf bread and peanut butter if anyone gets hungry in this bitch. Considering the jabs will not come fast enough, its a dollar a piece and the line starts at the white table with the arrow on it saying "greasy sandwiches and purple soda" on it.

Can.t wait to see those sub .8 60' that will just make it all thar much more enjoyable. When I see the win light in our lane. Also those 1.xxx lights need a tad bit of work.

Yea i agree. i saw Ed's CRX back in like 1998 and i said to myself one day i will have a drag car like that now im in my 30's and 13 years later i have this H/R CRX to show for with no real classes to race in.

nice set up 5 star!! Nice aluminum rods and are those crane or the web cams.. You are well ahead of me. i will be racing maybe this fall or early spring depending how money goes..from what i see on HT there still is quite a few HOT ROD class cars out there.. People just need to quit being babies and race..

In regards to bringing back the old skool cars, I can say that once you get a taste of the seven's you don't want to drive anything slower. The other PROFWD teams I believe are doing this for sheer exhilaration of speed and backing up the trash talking. Better yet, to remember how good the NHRA Sport Compact days were. I can safely say, Gardella, Rado and us love Sport Compact Drag Racing beyond all recognition, and it will always have that special place in all our hearts. I'm gonna try my best to make it, and I know it will be whole lotta fun!
