I recently bought a new AEM air filter to replace the old one in my 98 GSR. However, after receiving the filter, theres no way to make it fit. I called AEM and they told me that they no longer make the filters that will fit the old CAI. The best solution they could give me was to add tubing to the filter and attach that to the intake. My question is has anyone run into this problem with the older model AEM CAIs and the newer filters not fitting? And if you have, how did you solve this? Thanks.

 

is the filter to big or to small? if its to big just use an extra coupler or you can use electrical tape and wrap it around it
