Default My own fab shop thread.

why the hell not?
i just moved into a different building thats got a much better layout than my older one that was narrow/deep. its 1250 sq ft which isnt much but im not trying to go big or anything.

i just moved all the stuff over and started organizing it a bit, not finished yet but this will give you guys an idea.












any thoughts/inputs welcome!

been busy moving/setting up! also parts are still trickling in. i should be making some good headway on the lambo this week though

the fitup of the cut parts wasnt that great due to the complex curves so the welds arent as good as i can do on something that fits like it should.

practicing on some titanium spare material i have. you can see in one of the pics the difference between backpurging and no backpurge.
played around with my heat/movement speed to get full penetration, slowly starting to get a hang of this.

whats your point? its not like i just learned how to weld today. just adjusting to a different material. i dont see anything 'brave' about it... ?
