Default Gnarly ride... Not smooth.

So, i put on koni yellows and skunk2 springs on my del sol for a while, but the ride isn't smooth, i could feel almost every bump. the springs are good, the konis aren't blown, they're great as well. my ball joints have been replaced, however i need new upper ball joints and outer tie rods and an alignment. could those be the culprit? i just wanted to make sure. i'm thinking of getting a camber kit, new outer tie rods, and an alignment.

Have you tried adjusting the shocks?

Purchasing a camber kit is going to help your ride quality...you can rule that out man.

Alignment should have been done after install, but isn't necessarily going to affect you ride quality either.

Lots of skunk2 purchasers complain about ride quality.

Did you slam the hell out of your car? Even with my skunk2's @ half way the car was wayyyyy too low.

Skunk2 lowering springs or the springs from skunk2's coilovers. If your using the lowering springs make sure your not on the bottom circlip on the konis. A camber kit will not better the ride quality, if anything it can make it worse from the upper ball joint smacking the shock tower.

Theyre the regular skunk2 springs, not coilovers and the konis are set to stock settings. So you guys dont think the bad upper ball joints and outer tie rods are the culprit?

Try setting the shocks softer.

What you need to remember, is your always going to feel bumps and things.

These springs are not made for excellent ride quality.

Indeed, you can't lower your car even a modest 2" without doubling the spring rates.

The car is going to transfer a lot more of the road quality into your spine.
