Default Koni Adjustable coilovers info

just looking for some onfo/opinions on these, iv noticed the koni shocks are very popular in the US but i cant get much info on them here in Ireland. Iv been offerd a set of koni fully adjustable coilovers new for a very good price but want to know what there like, how low can they be dropped etc. Iv been told by people here in Ireland that they are a good budget coilover but no one has first hand experience to back it up.

thanks,
Paul

Koni doesn't make coilovers so chances are you have Koni shocks and some aftermarket coilover sleeves.

Also, you really should search.

If you searched you would see that Koni DOES make coilover setups.

My error. You're right. I should have. Just have never seen any in all the years I've owned this car and researching parts. Heck I might but those look out of my price range. Consider this my "learned something new today" item.

Yeah I think it's not really used all that much, considering they're one of the only adjustable-height setups with progressive-wound springs. Most stuff you'll find on the net is people asking for info, but not that much info out there about them.

And unfortunately Koni North America's site isn't working right now.

so you just getting the shocks? or is it a full coilover?

the 3 different adjustable height might be the perch height. take a pic if you can.

Im not sure they sound like just shocks not coilovers now, and yea my guess is the perch can be set on 3 levels, which determines the height and i presume they are also rebound/bump adjustable.

this is the pic i find when i search those part numbers:

have you checked out ST coilovers? they are like KW coilovers but with a galvanized housing and 5 year warranty.

the fronts should only have one lowering setting, and the rear should have two.

you would have to get lowering springs or coilover sleeve if you want to go lower. and they are bound adjustable only. but they are good for the money.
