Default EK hatch exhaust

Okay heres the dealio,

I got a full 3" exhaust on the hatch right now, no res just all pipe until an apexi n1 muffler. The apexi is too long and I couldnt get it moved back so it doesnt stick out. Here is what it looks like

it doesnt look to bad, took some time to get use to. I was just wondering what other good 3" muffler is out there.. or I was also thinking just a 3" pipe welded on so keep it flush and lined up. Think it would be too loud?

Right now the car isnt actually that loud to me. Thanks

just so you know, straight 3" pipe will make you "that guy" in a big loud way. is the exhaust stainless? I would just trim back and re-weld where you want the muffler.

Look into a Vibrant flat black oval 3" muffler. PM username "BlueR" on here and he has good deals on them shipped.

well I meant cut the exhaust pipe before the muffler, towards the manifold but if the muffler is already back close to the lower control arm than you may have to get a different muffler and or trim the tip. i wouldn't cut the muffler in half. better to sell and get the value out of it and get something different rather than potentially ruin it. that's just speaking as someone that's not a bad *** fabricator. also easier.

there are dif lengths, and it wasnt my welder, my budder and I did it because I picked up mandrel bent exhaust that was on a coupe. we cut where the muffler mounts and shortened it, the muffler is just too long. im thinking of just throwing a res on in the mid and straight piping

yeah look into hushpower, they offer mufflers in different sizes and lenghts

measure under the rear of the car, find out how much room you have to work with to get the muffler where you want it, then go on the site, and find the best fitting option
