1998 Honda Civic Ex - Rust Free! Central NJ
Unfortunately, I bought this car about two months ago with the intention of using it to save on gas, slamming it out and just kicking it back and forth to work however the car is entirely too small for me after driving a truck for the past 4 years. The run down:
Motor: Runs Fine (D16Y8) - 173,000 original miles
Trans: Shifts good, no grinds or slippage
Clutch: Works just fine!
Body: Has a couple little dings here and there but nothing major and absolutely no rust at all whatsoever.
Interior: Driver side sun visor has ripped fabric, only flaw I am aware of.
The transmission is in good condition, no slips or grinds at all, and the clutch is in good shape as well. The previous owner performed service on the motor and the timing belt and water pump were both changed. There are absolutely no problems with the car at all, and I have put almost 1000 miles on it since I got it. I have taken the car to Atlantic City and Maryland as well as frequently to North Jersey and had no problems with it at all whatsoever. The car was just inspected after I got it, and doesn't expire until 2013. The car is amazing on gas, and I wish I had a desire to keep it but I find myself still driving my truck because I don't like driving this.
The car has power windows, power locks, a power sunroof, an alarm system, and a Pioneer head unit. The car is dark green in color (picture below with more to come later) and has gray cloth interior. All in all, the car is in excellent condition. If interested feel free to PM me to set up a time to come look at the car – I will respond quickly. I am located in Central Jersey and would be willing to trade for some cars so if your interested let me know! I am looking to get somewhere in the area of $3300 for it.
