Default help... header desision

i have a JDM DC and i'm looking to either a IB modded JG header or a JDM itr header because i want to lower my car (clearance issues)... which one is better (over all, power, quality, price)? i'm willing to pay for these, but not custom (smsp, hytech, etc...)thanks all...

Save up a couple hundred more. It will be worth it. The power and ground clearance alone.

The JDM DC header is basically a JDM ITR header. I don't have any experience with the IB JG modded header but I only heard good things about it. For around $600 you can get a Type One header from A&J or the new Comptech one that looks like a hytech. All those headers have a 2.5 inch collector and you should see some results over the DC. I only got the DC for my car since it was so cheap.

I saw pictures of the new comptech header here on honda-tech. You can try calling comptech and asking when and how much there new header will be.

tried them all, HyTech and Toda ... don;t spend lil money on a typical header, not worth it in my opinion - you want ***** out performance go with these companies..

No the header is an off the shelf piece. Here is a link to more info about the toda header.

http://www.todaracing.com/products/h..._manifold.html

Some sellers on honda tech might even have them in stock.

Just to name a few

Is there an official T1R website?

Does the T1R header considered as "anti-reversion" or "stepped"?
Is it like the Toda where it is a 45-50-60 design?

Only the Hytech headers have anti reversion chambers. They even have a patent for this technology.

http://www.hytechexhaust.com for more info

If you need some specific questions answered about the T1R header try Iming either AJPwR or Spikey on this web board. They work for AJ-Racing who developed the T1R product line.

Is it like the Toda where it is a 45-50-60 design?
The Mugen 4-1 has 45mm (1.77") OD primaries, the dc 4-2-1 USDM has 1.63" primaries and 1.75" secondaries, the DC JDM has 1.75" OD primaries, the JG 4-2-1 header has 1.75" primaries and 2" secondaries and the Comp Tech USDM has 1.5 x 1.63 stepped primaries and 1.75" secondaries. All the JDM 4-2-1 headers have 45mm primaries and 50mm (1.97") secondaries, but the collectors do differ in some of them. The Spoon has 45mm primaries and extremely short 50mm secondaries.

From what I remember at the header test the Type One looked to be very similar to the Jun or Maxim Works header. Can't remember, I'll see if I can find some pics.
