Best upper strut for 5th gen?
I hear dc sports upper strut bar sucks in general because it bends easily... what other brands on the market are good quality and worth buying?
good luck getting your hands on one. I ordered mine in may, RandD said they would be here in july... as far as I know, they are still in production. Maybe by
X-mas?

The Spoon frunt upper strut bar for the 5G Prelude was discontinued about a year ago, apparently the rear strut is still being made.

I don't think any of them are made anymore. If you can find them, you'll be spending at least $200 for them, I have a friend who will let the front upper bar go for $250 (not sure about shipping, but probably on top of that.)
so basically neuspeed is the best bet for availaibility and quality aside from the spoon?!? how much are good priced neuspeed struts go for?
I'm still waiting for my friend to get me the polished neuspeed. The best price he can find was $118. The color ones are cheaper. If anyone knows where I can find a polished one for less than $118 let me kno.

Cool, $109.95 for the polished. Hey does anyone have any experience with the
Skunk2 strut? It looks pretty tight.

i've got a DC on my 5th gen, it works great, and i've had ZERO problems with it, had it about a year now, and i've put some serious abuse on it, auto-xing and hard street driving (i live in the mtns, lots of curves) the thing i like the best is the fact that you can adjust the outward tention on the struts to tighten the car up even more.
What U want is a very stiff soled link between your upper struts. The 2 piece ones like DC sports and sunken 2 are crap IMO. There is some play in the holes/screws were the 2 parts link up and the strut bar must not move at all (not even a little). Also they tend to be linked by a not very stiff bar, I have seen the DC one and I can flex it by hand if I push down on it!! The neuspeed one will NOT flex on you at all, I have tried. Get a single soled strut bar like the neuspeed, or something close to it, if you want it to really work.
If i went for the front upper strut , lets say neuspeed. would i have to get rear ones too ? or will the front one improve effieciently without the use of the other struts??

there is actually a process to fastening down the DC that makes it more rigid. it's actually in the mounts, i don't know how to expalint it, but it makes it a lot more difficult to get it on and off, but it makes the car extremely stiff
after lots of research, i have found the neuspeed is the best to get. nice and solid and not ugly like the DC and others. from what i have found you dont want an adjustable one, they tend to vibrate loose after a while. the neuspeed is the one i plan to get, and i suggest you do the same.
