i am going to buy a full a/c system from a 95 civic to place in my ef wagon. has anyone does this and does anyone know if this will work?
Don't waste your money on that full AC system.
None of it is going to fit in your wagon.
Better to go with the 88~91 to save $, time, and headaches.
If you swapped engines, then maybe the compressor will bolt on, but the lines are all routed differently. If the engine swap is your situation, then maybe you can use the compressor and the lines that bolt to it, BUT everything else will need to be off an 88~91 for proper fit.
I guess you might be able to squeeze in the condenser too if you have an half size radiator from an EG alreay.

i dont believe in the retro kits.. well what i believe is that they work for a few months.. then you have to recharge or w/e... currently i have no a/c system so im going to have to pull one off a car at the junk yard anyways.. and i saw a clean EG there.. and i was looking at it.. and the set up seems VERY similar to EF's.. i was just curious if its possible or/and if anyone has ever done one before. I researched and i saw a guy who said he got custom lines made to attach to his r134a compressor. i dont see why it wouldnt work.. they are both D-series motors.. u prolly just need the mount off it.. but ionno wont hurt to go and try and see right?
o/p i see where you're going with this. for the compressor you would need the bracket that goes with it, and as long as you're fine with having custom lines made from the condenser to the accumulator then i say go for it
No biggie though - I see where OP is going with this.
Should be interesting to see how it turns out.
