The 95 condenser is a 1/2 not a full like the EFs. And I don't know if the underdash pieces will fit either.

besides the obvious none of the lines will line up, different compressor, evap, condensor, etc

more importantly the 95 is r134 and the ef is r12 and the lines are not the same.

o/p you could have a hydraulic shop make you custom ac lines to adapt the newer compressor to your current under dash piece

Don't waste your money on that full AC system.
None of it is going to fit in your wagon.
Better to go with the 88~91 to save $, time, and headaches.

If you swapped engines, then maybe the compressor will bolt on, but the lines are all routed differently. If the engine swap is your situation, then maybe you can use the compressor and the lines that bolt to it, BUT everything else will need to be off an 88~91 for proper fit.
I guess you might be able to squeeze in the condenser too if you have an half size radiator from an EG alreay.

thanks for everyone's input on this. i feel that i can fit the compressor, condenser, and the drier easily in my wagon, and i will possibly have to get custom r134a lines made. im going to go to the junk yard and look at the evap right now, but if worst comes the worst i feel that using a wagon evap will be my best bet and just having custom lines fitted. thanks again everyone for your input!

Is there any reason for why you are doing this? Seems like an awful lot of work and money for some sort of gain that I do not see.

i dont believe in the retro kits.. well what i believe is that they work for a few months.. then you have to recharge or w/e... currently i have no a/c system so im going to have to pull one off a car at the junk yard anyways.. and i saw a clean EG there.. and i was looking at it.. and the set up seems VERY similar to EF's.. i was just curious if its possible or/and if anyone has ever done one before. I researched and i saw a guy who said he got custom lines made to attach to his r134a compressor. i dont see why it wouldnt work.. they are both D-series motors.. u prolly just need the mount off it.. but ionno wont hurt to go and try and see right?

o/p i see where you're going with this. for the compressor you would need the bracket that goes with it, and as long as you're fine with having custom lines made from the condenser to the accumulator then i say go for it

r134 in an r12 system will always be a comprise. the r12 condensors and evaps are not designed to work well with r134.

I know about the condenser, but I believe the evap is the same construction. The effectiveness of the condenser is specific to the system as well. A properly converted R12 system on the 88~91 Civic works quite well as opposed to a Mercedes Benz that is plagued with problems.

No biggie though - I see where OP is going with this.
Should be interesting to see how it turns out.
