Default grinding.

hey guys i have a 1991 civic hatchback and every time i shift to third, it grinds NO MATTER WHAT. i mean like the sound is just so unbearable sometimes. the only way to have it not grind is if when im in second, i press and hold the clutch for around 3 seconds then pop it into third. i have no problem with doing it but during those 3 seconds i lose rpms and my speed drops alot..

anybody know the problem?

worn out syncros, bent shift linkage, clutch not disengaging all the way, bent shifter fork... could be any one of those. most likely worn syncro's
