I wanna know what the fast stock cam ITR's are running on street tires. I know a few of us are close if not in the 13's with only I/H/E.

bump up compression to 13.5:1 and you're good to go

 

You saying a 13.7 isn't possible on stock compressions and cams?

 

probably with a lot of weight reduction, some Hytech or SMS pipes. hell throw in slicks for good measure.

 

I know its possible on slicks with guys trapping over 100mph with only intake and header. Being a true street tire car is important.

 

I ran 14.1 in my 4 door with ITR cams and stock GSR pistons, so i know 13's is definately posible for a car that is quite a bit lighter and has higher compression. I also had crappy 2.2 60ft times when i ran that.

What I'm basically getting at is that I know of a couple of very lightly modded R's that are churning out times close to those that have tuned aftermarket cam setups and I'm wondering if there are any other stock cam/compression Type-R guys out there who's times I haven't seen.

 

13.7 is obtainable with slicks...stock car.

if you strip the living hell out of your car, you too can run high 13's.

im talking about removing 400 lbs + from the car.

 

i was doing my BEST i could but never went unde 14.6

with i/h/e, short shift, no p/s belt, right signal lamp removed

 

i live my life a quarter mile at a time
