so i have a 99 civic ex w/ a stock d16y8(obd2) in it. i just picked up a b16a2(obd2) swap and was wondering if the engine harness on my sohc will work on the b16. i believe the plugs are exactly the same, i think i have to possibly lengthen/shorten the wires to make the harness fit. does anyone know for sure?

 

when ever u do any swap u use the harness that's in the car some wires may need lengthened or shortened other then that this should be plug and play.. good luck your going to want to run obd1 if u want to tune it or boost it. if u stay obd2 u can not tune but u can use a stock b16 ecu if u just add bolt ons.
