Default 1997 civic stock spoiler help

i have a 97 civic with a stock spoiler that looks like this:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

and i want to take off the spoiler due to the clear coat coming off and it looking ugly.
how do i pug the holes without having to weld them shut?
like plugs or anything?
any help and links or websites and prices will be greatly appreciated. thanks!

I've seen people just put bolts and washers into the holes.

the silicone he used came in a tube that resembles a tube of toothpaste. you just fill up the empty holes and let it sit and harden. its waterproof and looks better than having bolts in your trunk lid.

Make a thread in the Market Place seeing if anyone wants to trade trunks.

Don't throw that spoiler away btw. It's the '99-'00 Civic sedan spoiler. Each body and year range had different spoilers. Seems sedan ones are less common than coupe spoilers.

I'd personally just get the spoiler repainted. I love the spoiler.

thats the best thing u can do because the silicon it expands with the different temptures just go to like a home depot in the paint section its like 3 to 5 bucks just use your fingers to tempory plug the hole skirt the **** in and just get it to how u like it get a wet wash cloth clean it up and let it harden and your good to go its comes in clear and white.

Unless u want to buy a new trunk all together and have the colors off on your car but use the shower and tub silicone its ment for water and high and cold temptures but all in all its gunna keep water out your trunk but its only a temorory fix unless u used body filler wich home depot has too but only a big *** jug of the **** unless u go to rileys or auto zone and the **** is hella expensive

bolts look like half *** ****

I'd get new trunk or deal with the ugly look because silicon would last short period of time b4 it fall off.
