86-89 INTEGRA DOES NOT HAVE A FITV.

I really need help on this and no one on other forums have responded to anything I post, this seems like an active forum so maybe I can get some help.

IVE REPLACED...
IACV with a brand new one
I replaced the Cylinder position sensor with a brand new one
I replaced the o2 sensor with a brand new one
Ive cleaned the throttle body fully and tightened down intake manifold
Cleaned PCV

Im throwing no check engine light

When im driving and I push in the clutch in the car idles low for a second and jumps back up and stays normal.

If its warmed up if I turn the heater and defrost on it doesnt idle up and down in neutral but still when I push in the clutch it idles down and goes back up and stays normal.

Im confused and need some help, could it be my thermostat being stuck open? Vacuum leak, ive checked all the lines and there great, any ideas?

 

BUMP, ive been dealing with this for weeks and I cant figure it out, I cant get anymore information from other forums, and they dont respond either.... im just lost... any ideas anyone???

 

let the car warm up and ajdust the idle air screw its in the throttle body its a flat head

 

or check your timing and your dizzy

 

Where is the idle air screw located? Ive looked online and cant find it.... my timing is right on and the dizzy is new from 2006 and I know it works because I took it off my dohc zc that runs perfect.

 

i checked out for solution for your problem but of no use just give me time i will be soon with the best solution for this.........

 

in makes idle go lower out makes idle go up make sure your car is warmed up

 

Sorry bro that must be for a 90+ integra, mines a 89 with a d16a1 dohc, I dont have that screw on my throttle body... =/ ive researched how to lower the idle but there isnt much info on it.

 

OK,Here is one for yall,IACV is new,Good idle when cold but as soon as the car is warm it will not keep a idle,Im thinking the ECU is fried or might be the TBS.Im dealling with a 95 integ OBD1 to OBD2 conversion!

 

Try adjusting the throttle cable it may be closing too much. The engine tries to stall from starving then the IACV catches up and fixes the idle. It also could be a wire problem. Or check the voltage on the throttle position sensor should be .5v at idle 4.5v at full. That is all i can think of, except that it is a hot rod and they all have their quirks.
