Default gsr block with a ls crank

sup , i have a gsr b18c1 block in my garage. it has no crank , but does come with the main caps and girdle. i was thinking about buying a ls b18b crank since its cheaper , easier to find , and gives it a slight displacement increase. i have a few questions :

- can i use the gsr main caps with the ls crank or do i need to find ls main caps ?

- if i can use the gsr main caps , can i use the girdle with no mods ?

- im guessing i need the gsr windage tray , gsr oil pickup, and gsr oil pan ?

- will using gsr sized rods push the pistons above the block ? ( meaning i need ls rods ? )

- is it recommended that i re use the oil squirters by bending it or should i jus get rid of it ?

thanks !

Dude this has been covered on here soooo many times! Search and you will find!

You have to remove the squirters and use LS rods...

What he said, there are a couple of good threads on this already.

This one has some good info.
