clutch went out...kinda?
ok, its crazy so bare with me...but my clutch went out or so i thought...but the car still moves, u jus gotta rev the **** out of it to get it to move. even then u gotta keep it at high rpm's to maintain minimal speed. Its kinda hard to explain, but if anyone knows what im talking about PLEASE help me asap...its a 92 dx with a Y8 motor if that helps any
it wasnt slipping...thats why im so flustered, it didnt have any signs of going out (ie slipping, hopping, speratic reving etc)...the only thing strange it was doing is (as of yesterday) ud have to rev it up pretty good to get out of 1st/reverse to avoid shaking but i jus thought it was due to my bum iacv...its acting as if its out because i can b at a dead stop, put it in gear, and it wont cut off if im off of the clutch AND gas...but for some reason i CAN accelerate
If the clutch disk and flywheel are contaminated with oil, then the engine rear main seal or transmission input shaft seal may have sprung a leak. If so, you'd need to replace the leaking oil seal and then replace the clutch and possibly flywheel.

iight, i just went to check on it...my clutch fluid resivior was low BUT when i added some fluid, the new fluid mixed with the old stuff and it look about like oil? does this mean that theres oil in the transmission or clutch line?
