Default Just installed ES Shifter Bushings

Ordered them from suspension.com for about $12 bucks shipped. Taking the old bushings out were a piece of cake, putting them back on required a little elbow grease, but was still much much easier than I thought it would be. The whole process took like 20 minutes (excluding jacking up the cars). The pictures on one of the threads here was very helpful (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=157977).

As far as how the they feel, I can't tell hardly any difference in the shifting from when I had the original rubber shifter bushings. It does feel a _little_ bit more precise and defined, but it feels just as smooth and easy to shift as before. Maybe I didn't tighten them enough?

Not bad for $12 bucks, but I sort of expected stiffer and more defined shifting feel.

Shouldn't be a night and day difference. It does help out a tad bit though.

Is that with your stock shifter or a short shifter?

For those who have installed them what years were your cars? How miles were on your car when you installed them?

Probably makes a bigger difference when installed in conjunction with engine mount inserts.

Both. I had it on with my short shifter and I had it on with my stock shifter. Notice-able difference in both cases.

Is that with your stock shifter or a short shifter?

50k miles on the engine.

When you guys say you feel a big difference, do you mean the shifter is stiffer or more precise?

Well if you car is relatively new I doubt the difference would be that dramatic compared to cars that have had the crap kicked out of them. For $12 it is a worthy mod in my opinion.

I consider it the best mod under $20 (I got mine for about $10 USD).

I consider it one of the hardest mod you can do under $20.

I too have the ES bushings with the skunk2 shifter. I swapped the stock Itr shifter/bushings out, basically feels the same. I little firmer with the bushings, nothing 'incredible' about it. My buddy has a C's in his Itr, that one is a night and day difference.
