kumho 712's... would there be any problem with this set up?

Are yuo trying to get rid of rubbing? Mine do that I have 205/50/15's

i got 205/40/16 on all 4 and mines dont rub
would it be because of the 42 offset?

I've run that combo before. It may worsen your already uneven FF front/rear weight balance a tad bit. Shouldn't be any problem though. Why are you wanting this?

just run 205 front and back djay, I have kuhmo 711 (205's) on my gsr rims and have never had a problem with rubbing here is a good web site where u can pick up 712's for cheap http://www.autoglitz.com just go to get ur alignment when u get the tires, especially if u r going from a 195 to a 205.

I dont care about rubbing... i got 2 205's for a good *** price.. the back 195's are perfect, but current 195 fronts are bald from camber wear..

So, what im saying is... would i have any problem with the different size tires in the front and the back?

No.

If you autocross expect more overstear though. Other than that 205's up front and 195's in rear is just fine.

I think in Japan they do this. I've seen a 17 up front and a 16 in the rear. Has nothing to do with what you're saying, but similar.
